The contract is for the supply of all labour, equipment and materials required to complete milling of the existing road surface 60mm, export milled material to a Municipal location at the direction of the Manger of Public works or their delegate or to an acceptable site at the contractors expense as identified in Schedule A. Pulverize, haul granular “A” OPSS 1010 granular “A”, grade and  compact as identified in Schedule B. Apply a double lift of surface treatment as identified in Schedules A, B and E . Haul granular “A” OPSS 1010 granular “A”, grade and compact as identified in Schedule E. All Schedules A – E identify the process to each road section, Road section are identified in the Map of Road Sections.

The contractor is responsible for completing all necessary utility locates prior to any work commencing.

All work must be completed to the satisfaction of the Manager of Public Works, or his designate, and in accordance with all current surface treatment application standards and any other applicable OPS Standards. Furthermore, the Municipality reserves the right to reduce or increase the specified quantities in this tender by up to 25%, without penalties to unit prices, subject to budget constraints and Council approval.
